

William Arthur Wick, 71, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born January 31, 1945, in St. Louis, MO to the late Arthur Irwin and Theresa Louise (Finkenburger) Wick.
He retired after 50 years of service with Local 136 Plumbers and Steamfitters. William was an avid golfer, fisherman and loved to travel. He enjoyed family outings and was the grill master for family get-togethers.
William was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary “Tommye” (Wilken) Wick; children, Steve Mahon, Barbara (Helfert) Mahon, Dawn (Wick) Jim Johnson, Christi (Wick) Bob Brown, Danny Wick, Jennifer Wick (Duane James), Michele Jarboe (Josh Proctor), Brett and Jessica Mahon; grandchildren, Randy and Ryan Helfert, Colby, Logan, Riley and Kian Johnson, Ashley and Danielle Brown, Melanie, Tanner and Easton Wick, William Dorsey (Heather Beyers), Christopher and Brittany Smith, Matthew (Wick) Robey, Paige Jutzi, Kendra James, Logan and Lauren Jarboe and Andrew Proctor; great-grandchildren, Angel, Eian, Brandon, Teagan and Cole Mahon and Gabe Dorsey; and sisters, Vicki (Wick) Pete Lecho and Jean Wick.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2017, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
