Wilma Joyce Peerman

In her early years, she was a secretary at Calvary Baptist Church as well as Tekoppel School. In her later years, she attended Oakhill Baptist Church, where she was active in the Senior Adults Group. She and her late husband greatly enjoyed spending time with their friends at the bowling alley. Joyce dearly loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Laverne R. Peerman, and sister, Sharon Byrd.

She is survived by her son, Glen R. Peerman (Brenda); daughter, Julie A. Peerman; grandchildren, Jeffrey Peerman and Meredith Wyatt (Devin); brother, Jack Foster and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Alan Scott, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 7:00PM, Monday, August 15, 2016 and Tuesday from 9:00AM to service time at the funeral home.
