

Wilma Rosemary Reising, 85, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at River Pointe Health Campus. She was born November 17, 1927, in Mt. Carmel, IL to the late William and Goldie (Hocking) Compton.
She retired from EVSC after 35 years as a Food Service Manager. She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed traveling, camping, listening to The Gaither’s music and dancing. She enjoyed meeting new people. Everyone always told her she had a beautiful smile.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Reising; brothers, Ivan and Ross Compton; and great-granddaughter, Onekah Eisenhauer.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Beth) Reising of Newburgh, IN; daughter, Sandi
(Phil) Sisk of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Adam (Rachel) Reising, Jaima (Daniel) Eisenhauer, Nikki (Chris) Leslie, and Annie (Chuck) Moore; great-grandchildren, Nadia, Berke and Ilyse Eisenhauer, Aven Reising, Isaac and Olivia Leslie, and Mailey Moore; sisters, Enola “Tudie” (Harry) Duke of Henderson, KY and Katherine Dooley of Evansville, IN; brother, Hubert (Sylvia) Compton of FL; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the River Pointe staff and residence for their loving care.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Rod Hoschouer, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
