She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who worked for many years at Kmart. Myrtle found her greatest joy in caring for her family and spending time with loved ones. She was known for her heart, strength, and unwavering love.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Casper (Cline); father, William Casper and her husband of 56 years, William Wells.
Myrtle is survived by her sons, Walter (Owensville) and Michael (Evansville); 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Chris, Jimmy, Rebeca, JJ, and Kelley; and 8 great-grandchildren, Malaki, Karma, Callie, Ben, Temperance, Jasmine, Mason, and Olivia.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN followed by burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
