Dear Bill,
    We were so sorry to read of Zoann's death.  She was such a "crafty" lady and I am the recipient of several of her creations. 
    Our son, Stan Freeman, was in your homeroom at Reitz High School and we thought you were a great mentor to your students.  Stan went to I.U. School of Medicine, completed his residency in Anesthesiology, and has been practicing in Las Vegas for 22 years.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear of Zoann's passing. Heaven has gained an extremely kind angel.  I met her   on a bus going to a Reitz football game.  She introduced us to Malik.  Saying he was going to be playing football at Reitz.  She was so proud of all her family. 
A couple years ago another friend of mine lost her job because of a fire.  It was right before her son's 3rd birthday.  She had no income and no money left after bills to buy anything for his birthday or Christmas. 
Zoann's and her daughter both stepped up and helped so much.  They could never know how much it was and still is appreciated.  
That was Zoann.  So loving and kind.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Those we hold most dear never truly leave us. They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives.

We worked at Keller Crescent and with Zoann for over 30 years. She was very knowledgeable about her job. She was also a lot of fun to work with. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you throughout the coming days.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Zoann.  I will always remember how sweet and kind she was.  Many good memories at the camp.

As you celebrate Zoanne's life, we are sure that many of the class of 1959 remember our times in high school and our class reunions.

I am sorry for your loss. We were neighbors for about 15 years and she gave me some of her garden flowers a couple of years back that I enjoy in my garden now.  Their Christmas lights were always so pretty and I miss those this year when they moved last Fall.  I will keep your family in my prayers.

I met Zoann years ago at Bob's Gym. We had the same trainers. After a while we started walking on the treadmills together and shared a lot of laughs! She always talked about her family. She loved you so much. I will miss seeing her at the Fall Festival. Zoann was the Best.

Todd and Jackie I am so sorry for your loss.  Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

It has truly been my honor and to my betterment that Zoann came into my life; first as a neighborhood Mom, later as a friend and most importantly as a sister in Christ.  While playing football and baseball in her backyard with sons Kirk and Todd she looked over us and as a sister in Christ she has demonstrated the likeness of Christ as she faced the final challenge of her life with courage and grace; confident in the Lord's ability to heal her and yet willing to allow him to call her home to be in his presence if he so chose.  Her Facebook message on April 17th reminded me so much of our Lord's teaching about how we ought to pray and he did pray in the garden, not my will but yours be done.  I can only hope and aspire to the level of faith and confidence that Zoann has demonstrated to me.  Because of this I pray a prayer of thanksgiving and say, Thank you Lord for allowing Zoann to be a part of my life.  I will miss the occasional phone call or Facebook communications and the visits when I return to Evansville but your face, your laughter, your words remain with me forever until we meet again in the presence of our Lord.
