Grandpa - over six years have gone by and I still miss you. Thank you for being my grandpa...your babydoll

Great Grandpa,
 I remember a few things more than others, mostly I remember how encouraging you were through your letters,never judging me always reminding me of God's love, and forgivness. Thank you for that. 
  The knee rides, and the tickling are a great memory as well. Love and miss you always.

I remember my Great Grandma Ruby (Phelps) Tangen telling me stories of my Great Grandpa Wayne Phelps and his brothers and sisters.  I remember her telling me about Arlie and Garnet.  Aunt Marie, I am so sorry for the loss of the love of your life.  I know he is up with Jesus and the rest of his family reminiscing.  My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family.

I remember when I was 12 and moved to Oklahoma I had a conversation with one of my cousins who seemed quite insistant that I could not have three sets of Grandparents. Three years ago I returned home for a visit and I had a chance to see Grandpa and Grandma Phelps after many years away. I was immediately reminded how wrong my cousin was. I thank the Lord for that opportunity to see Grandpa again. Grandma my prayers are with you.

To state my happy memories would mean writing a novel so I will just say that grandpa was the most important man in my life and I love him more than words can say.  I will miss his smile and his laugh more than anything else.  I look forward to being with you again my dear sweet grandpa! All my love forever, Sheryl
