Austin Lee Anglin

Austin L. Anglin, 13 years old, passed away May 7, 2011 in a tragic boating accident. He was a wonderful young man who never complained. He always wondered “now what?” anxiously awaiting his next adventure. Austin loved hiking, rafting, snowboarding, snowmobiling and riding Quads. He also loved fishing, crabbing and smelting. Thoughtful, caring, eager to please, he always wanted to be with the big boys.

Austin is survived by his loving family and numerous close friends.

Fisherman’s Prayer

God grant that I may live to fish

Until my dying day.

And when it comes to my last cast

I then must humbly pray.

When in the Lord’s safe landing net

I’m peacefully asleep.

That in his mercy I be judged

Big enough to keep.

A private graveside was held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park.
