Bea is now reunited with her husband Pat Akina, (whom she married on March 11, 1967) her Brother Ronald Herrin and her Parents Wes and Betty Herrin.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: her Son Patrick (Lisa) Akina and her Daughter Michele (Andre Boudy) Akina, her Grandkids Malia (13) Kaila (11) and Jaylen (9), her Sister Lois Hindman, Brothers Dwight Herrin and Dean Herrin and several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and countless close friends.
Bea was a beloved Mother, Sister, Grammy, Aunty and loving friend, whose kindness and gentle spirit enriched all who knew her. Bea’s Grandkids were the pride and joy of her life. Her passion for sports, love of reading and zest for life will live on through them. Bea will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
At her request, there will be no service, but rather a celebration of her Life, held at a later date.
A memorial bench overlooking the Puget Sound in Mukilteo will be dedicated in honor of Bea and her husband Pat.
