Beulah Lindsley was born in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and later moved with her family to a very small town, Washougal, Washington. The biggest thing to happen in Washougal was the president at the time passing through town on the railroad. The family then relocated to Puyallup, Washington. In Puyallup, Beulah and her family lived near the Puyallup Fairgrounds, where they earned extra income by providing fair and event parking. It was at Hilltop Church Assembly of God in Puyallup that Beulah met her beloved husband, Otto. Beulah & Otto got married in February of 1957. Shortly after Otto joined the Army from 1958-1962. After leaving the military the young family moved to Seattle when they raised their four children: Debbie Ann Shea, Brinda Ward, Kathy Lindsley, and Kenneth Lindsley. Otto worked for Vernelle Fine Candy and had a particular fondness for jellybeans. Beula was a devoted homemaker until Kenneth started primary school, after which she began working for Catholic Community Services in 1978 and retired in 2007. Beula was also blessed with four sisters: Delaphine, Donna Day, Rosie, and Elsie. She and her family enjoyed many memorable trips to Hawaii, Texas, Disney World, Wisconsin, Mount Rushmore, and Yellowstone. In her later years, Beulah cherished visits to Long Beach, Washington. One of her favorite hobbies was embroidery, often creating heartfelt homemade gifts for her grandchildren & friends. In her final years, Beulah would take shorter trips down south to visit with her sisters & extended family. Always wanting to visit Snoqualmie falls on her way back home. Beulah was especially close with her children Brinda and Kenny, as they were her main caregivers for the last seven years. It was on a warm day that Beulah peacefully went to be with the Lord. Brinda & Kenny took a trip to Snoqualmie falls that evening of September 16th to remember Beulah at one of her favorite places.
Beulah Lindsley will be remembered for her warmth, love, and kindness she shared throughout her life.
Beulah is preceded in death by her sister Rosie & beloved Husband Otto. Beulah is survived by her children Debbie, Brinda, Kathy & Kenneth.
Beulah will be laid to rest next to her Husband Otto at Evergreen Cemetery 4504 Broadway on Wednesday October 1st at 11am.
