David Earl Poole

He was born on September 16, 1954 in Liberty County, Texas to Cecil and Betty Poole. David attended Corona Valley High School, joined the U.S. Army and served his country for 2 years in Vietnam and Germany.

He returned home to California and began working at BNSF Railroad. He worked at many locations in California and Washington over a 32 period. His last employment location was in Everett, Washington as a railroad car inspector. While in California he received his Associate’s Degree from Victor Valley College. David was a member of Allen Creek Baptist Church, Marysville, WA and was a member of TCI Union.

David loved traveling along the Pacific Coast beaches and enjoyed watching sunsets on the beach with his wife Stephanie. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing and playing poker with his buddies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron Poole.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; daughter and son-in-law, Fawnia and Jim Aragon; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Kim Kennedy; siblings, Glen and Leroy Poole and Louise Kern; 5 grandchildren, Noah and Hunter Aragon, Morgan, Jake and Olivia Kennedy; sister-in-law and her husband, Cindy and Everett Kooiman; aunts, Sue Croom, Faye Brown and Joyce Chapman; uncle, John Poole; cousin Carol Wilson and many other loving family members.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy. Graveside Service will be held Monday, December 20, 2010 at 12 noon at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
