

Donald LeRoy Honeycutt, born March 27, 1922 in Colby, KS, passed away on October 12, 2012 in Lynnwood, WA. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He enjoyed his Model A and Model T clubs, oil painting – which he took up in his 70’s, and spending time with his loving family and friends. Don was a graduate of Lake Stevens High School Class of 1941. Don is survived by his children, James Honeycutt of Mount Vernon, Linda Snow of Everett, Donald L.(Kristin) Honeycutt, Jr. of Tacoma, Kathy (Edward) Cooper of Pensacola, FL, Debbie (Steve) Sand of Edmonds, Ronald (Sheri) Honeycutt of Edmonds, 18 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Murl and Ebba Honeycutt, his wife, Marguerite “Peggy” Honeycutt, Siblings, Lilas Sanders, Lois Borland, Leonard Honeycutt, Doris Barnaby, Infant Son, Stephen Murl Honeycutt, Grandsons E. William Cooper, John Fox Cooper, and Vincent Snow. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 – 196th St. SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Memorials in his name may be made to Neighbors in Need, c/o Trinity Lutheran Church.
