Doris M Jacobs

Born August 27, 1937, Doris Jacobs left her beloved husband, LeRoy Jacobs and her three adored children; Kris Edmondson, Scott Phelps and Cynthia Phelps on August 21, 2013. She died peacefully after a short battle with cancer. She also leaves son in law; Phil Edmondson, three much loved grandsons; Logan, Colby and Brady Phelps, cherished nieces and nephews of Skagit and Snohomish Counties and the state of Colorado.

Doris graduated from Everett High School, a lifetime Everett resident. She often spoke of her pride in her Everett High School class of 1955.

Doris also leaves a wonderful step family whom she loved so much; Laura and Curt Bry, Ann Carrigan, Bill and Tammy Jacobs and loving step grandchildren; Andrew, Matt, Caitlin and Seth.

Proceeding her in death were her two dear sisters; Jessie Nelson and June McCord and the father of her children; Jerry Phelps.

Doris wished to be cremated and asked that memorial donations be made in her name to Providence Hospice. A special thanks goes out to Karen Lyttle for her loving care during Mom’s final days.

A life celebration gathering will be held at 1427 100th St SW, Space 163 in Everett on August 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
