

Ethel moved to Everett at a young child. She married Arthur L. Fleenor on December 11, 1935 and they were together for 67 years until his death in 2002. Throughout their life together, they lived in Everett for thirty-five years and later retired for the last 32 years together in Camano Island. They had two children Linda and Bill. Throughout life Ethel enjoyed many activities. She and Arthur went on 12 cruises together; they loved boating and spent numerous years traveling to the San Juan Islands on their boats. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting, so much that she made a lot of her own clothes. Ethel was the "magnificent seamstress".
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Norman; her husband Arthur; her sister, Paula Burke and grand-daughter Gina Marie.
She is survived by daughter Linda Lund of San Diego California and son Bill (Joy) Fleenor of Concrete Washington; five grandchildren Heidi, Kästle, Phil, Paul and Elyse; four great-grandchildren, Drake, Davis, Rose and Aaron; two step-great-grandchildren Shelby and Halle; and four great-great-grandchildren Ainsley Anne, Trace, Arieanna and Shead.
A Celebration of Ethel's Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 30 at Camano Chapel, 867 S. West Camano Drive, Camano Island Washington.
