

Frances Marguerite Anderson (a.k.a. Hula Fran) passed away peacefully on November 17, 2012 with her loving son by her side, as a result of kidney failure. She was born on March 5, 1917 in Willow River, Minnesota to Laurence and Margaret Novak. She graduated from Willow River High School in 1935 and later attended Everett Junior College. In 1936, she married Maurice Anderson, a marriage that lasted 66 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers (Jake, Henry, Ben and Joe) and her sisters (Ann, Helen, Sophie and Dorothy).
She is survived by her son, Terry, sisters-in-law (Gert Novack, Lillian Novack and Angie Anderson), numerous nieces and nephews and her "adopted" grandchildren (Michelle, Jennifer and Michael).
She made many friends and was well known for being the office manager for Dr. Lucas's Everett Chiropractic Clinic, a volunteer in the gift shop and surgery lounge at Providence Hospital and a hula dancer with the Everett Senior Center Hula Dancers. She was a founding member of the Everett Chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants.
