Jeffrey Allen Buckmiller, “Uncle Buck” passed away peacefully at his home in Marysville, WA Monday, September 1, 2014 at the age of 52. Jeff was born July 13th, 1962 in Milwaukee, WI to Alois Niemczyk and Jeanne Whitman-Tatum.
Jeff was raised in Seattle, WA and graduated from West Seattle High School in 1980. Jeff chose to pursue higher education and graduated from Central Washington University in 1984.
Jeff enjoyed being active, listening to Tom Petty, traveling, a great round of golf, attending sporting events, and was a movie fanatic. He was a diehard Husky football fan and loved to spoil his nieces and nephews by taking them to the movies, bowling, Disneyworld cruises, Mariners spring training, and anything else that would make them smile.
Jeff was survived by his mother Jeanne Whitman-Tatum, sister Kelly Buckmiller-Jordan; brothers Jon and Jody Buckmiller; nephews and nieces, Nick and Katie Jordan and Justin and Julianna Buckmiller; and his toy Pomeranian Bobby. Jeff was preceded in death by his father Alois Niemczyk.
Uncle Buck wished for his ashes to be spread within the beautiful waters of the Bahamas where a family celebration of life will be held. May his spirit rest in peace and when the “Bow Down to Washington” song is sung, may your spirit sing with the band, as a remembrance to do something every day that makes you feel like you’re “Free Fallin.” Rest in peace Uncle Buck you were truly loved!
Arrangements under the direction of Purdy & Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett, WA.
