

He served his country as a sailor in the US Navy during WWII from 1942 to 1945. He married his sweetheart Lois Jeane Erickson on August 9, 1952 in Everett, Washington. He worked at GTE as an electrical technician and retired 25 years later at the age of 63. Lewis and Lois had four children together – Lewis, Linda, Lonnie and Lori. He is survived by 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren: Lewis Alan Boyd (Roni) and their children and grandchildren: Chris Boyd (Nichole), Brooklyn, Bella; Kevin Boyd (Skye), Matthew; Kellee Camphouse (Brandon Keller), Austin, Tyler, Kaleb, Brayden; Lonnie Aaron Boyd (Brenda) and their children and grandchildren; Staci Gomez (Robin), Tiara, Steven Boyd (Kelly), Craig Boyd, Westin Juarez, Christine Voivod (Nick), Corbin Juarez, Stephanie Boyd, Dakota Juarez, Clayton Juarez, Bryson Boyd; Lori Ann Fernandez and her children and grandchildren: Kelsey Fernandez, Ryan Fernandez (Sam), Natalie.
He enjoyed hearing from niece Colleen Kennedy (Tim) from St. Petersburg FL and nephew Tim Kennedy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois; his parents, Lewis Alan Boyd and Amanda Johnson Boyd, his sister, Lorraine Kennedy, and his, daughter Linda Jeane Boyd.
He lived a simple and quiet life, but loved his family dearly. We appreciate his example as a father and grandfather. He will be missed.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Purdy & Walters with Cassidy, in Everett, Washington. Viewing/Visitation hours: Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-1 at the funeral home. Committal Service with military honors will follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Everett, Washington.
