Uncle Marvin I have a lot of great memories of you as I was growing up. You were always happy and seen the good in everyone. You were a wonderful uncle. You will be missed.

Well, old friend , we gotta part for a little while, but I'll see ya again. You were always a bright spot in my life and we all loved and respected you for your honesty and your sincerity . I'll miss you my family will miss you you will never be forgotten, my brother, not by blood but by love. RIP Marvin you have earned a rest. Say hello to T for me and give her an extra hug. Love ya , oh yeah say hello to our Lord and Savior see ya later .

I remember all of the happy times we had when you came to visit in Lakewood, CA.  Always happy and enjoying life.  You will surely be missed by all of the family.  Love you Marvin.

At one time or another, just about everyone has experienced the pain of having to say goodbye to a friend. Some people grieve by wanting to take care of everybody else and make everybody else feel better. Everyone grieves differently. It's especially difficult for us to experience the tragic and unexpected loss of a friend. 
Mr. Marvin Bodewig a friend I met working for Country Farms was a true and honest friend to many. I will miss him, yet I will know somehow he is still around. I know what I will be feeling when those trucks start rolling in
for the season, I always looked forward to seeing him every week driving his truck bringing produce along with a good sense of humor and some smiles to please others. Yes, Mr. Marvin will be missed by all of us here at Country Farms 99.  I thank you,  Mr. Marv for being so kind to my family. You always came in and had your cup of coffee with us. You were honest in all you did while being here at our store. In my mind, Mr. Marv will always be here. An honest and loyal friend to Country Farms.

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear.  We share your grief.

Marv was a great guy! He had a great attitude, and pretty much always made the best out of things. He was never afraid to get in, and get his hands dirty. He always seemed to bend of backwards to help his family. Marv you will be missed  ! Now you get to be with Teddy again.

I enjoyed our last couple years of working with u at jay  waters  country farms.    You are one of the guys I liked the best cause u always made sure everything was right and you weren't afraid to tell some one they made a mistake.  You will be miss by all of us here at Jay 
waters / country farms.  And don't worry I will do my best to keep Tiffany talking like a lady for ya and have her tone down her trucker voice =-).   U will always be loved and miss by everyone that knew u marvin. Say hi to everyone up there for me buddy.

WOW Where to began, I've Been around Truck Drivers All My Life, I've Seen The Worst I've Seen The Best. Marv Was The Best . He Lived His Life & Treated People At That Same Level. If You Where In Trouble & Needed Help He was Alway's There.He Was Also one of the ROUGHEST TOUGHEST hombres i have ever met. mystery meat sandwiches. Uncle Marvin always made these sandwiches when we went fishing for our lunch. you never knew what was in them for sure. Could be Ham, maybe roast beef, might be chicken, some pickels, onions for sure. I pretty sure it was what ever was in the refrigerator at the time. all cut up swirled together with mayo slapped between two pieces of bread. I dont remember to mant of us complaining much because after hiking up and down the river all day you were very hungry. And that was all you were going to get to eat anyway.

I have worked with Marvin for 35 years loading or unloading his truck at twin city foods arlington and he always had a smile on his face and a good story to tell me or just give me a bad time while he was loading. he will be missed very much as a person and a very good frend.
