

Phoebe was born June 21,1933 to Clarence Leroy Sanders and Mabel Aurilla Payne in Wilmington, NY. She graduated in 1951 from Grafton Highschool in MA.
Phoebe was an accomplished parliamentarian and utilized her skills faithfully serving various organizations. She was also a proud and active member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Colonial Dames, among others.
Phoebe was a natural beauty with a great sense of style. She was also a beautiful singer and performed regularly with her musician friends at local venues and at home with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed genealogy research and compiled extensive documentation of her heritage.
Phoebe is survived by husband of 36 years Berl Glaze, of North Hollywood, CA; five of her children: David Morris, of Des Moines, WA; Linda Lee, of Tujunga, CA; Randy Morris, of Everett, WA; Kathy Lansford, of Palm Desert, CA; and Rick Morris, of Gig Harbor, WA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sisters Claire Sears, of St. Petersburg, FL; Mable Adams, of St. Petersburg, FL; Florence Hightower, of Downey, CA; and Jean Sanders, of Haverhill, MA.
Phoebe’s first husband and father of her six children, Clifford Leland Morris and their son Clifford Lee predeceased her along with her brothers Leeland, James and Robert Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in her name to any Veteran related charitable organization.
