Dec. 7, 1960-Dec. 18, 2015 Robert Koenig was an inspiration to his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and loved watching the Mariners, going to Aqua Sox games, attending church services, and spending time with family and friends, especially for holiday meals. His sense of humor and dry wit will be remembered by those who loved him and knew him. Robert was a proud graduate of Mammoth Lakes High School and worked at the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort until he moved to Everett, Washington in 1999. Robert is survived by his parents, Ruth and Donald; his sister, Linda and her husband, Joe; his four brothers and their wives, Dave and Heather, Philip and Deborah, Mark and Susan, and Daniel and Kimberly. Robert is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews who loved him and will miss him. For the past two years Robert lived at the Mukilteo Green House where he received loving care. His family is very appreciative of their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made in his name to Peace Lutheran Church or Little Doves Preschool at 202 Dickinson St., Monroe, Washington, 98272. Robert will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
