May 4, 1988 – Oct. 14, 2012
Our loving precious son Spencer passed away on October 14, 2012, at the age of 24 years old. He was born in Everett, WA on May 4, 1988 to proud parents, Mike and Debbie Warfield. Spencer came into the world surrounded by a loving extended family that supported him throughout his life. His sister Paige was born in November 1993. She was the joy of his life and he cherished each moment he had with her until his death.
Spencer had a love for life and adventure. His childhood was packed with wonderful neighborhood friends and their families with whom he played various sports and shared many good memories. He was fortunate to have had two sets of grandparents living within a few blocks from his family home; Reg and Betty Scodeller and George and Arlene Warfield. Many happy times were spent with his grandparents and they had a huge influence on his life. Aunts, Uncles and Cousins were a special part of his life and he cherished each individual relationship he had with them.
Spencer was always known as the "big guy" around school. At 6'5", he was a natural athlete in many sports. His favorite was throwing the shot put and discus for Everett High School, qualifying for the State Tournament two years in a row. Bodybuilding and weightlifting were his passion, which led him to become a certified personal trainer. He also enjoyed hunting and cooking. After graduating from Everett High in 2006 he attended Washington State University and University of Nevada Las Vegas.
No one loved practical jokes more than Spencer. His sense of humor and mischievous personality kept family and friends on their toes. For such a big guy he had a very kind, gentle spirit and was not afraid to show his love and compassion for his family.
Spencer's passing is going to leave a huge gap in all our lives. For his short time on this earth, we made so many wonderful memories that we will hold close to our heart. He will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Reg and Betty Scodeller and George and Arlene Warfield.
Spencer leaves behind his parents, Mike and Debbie Warfield; and sister, Paige; aunts, uncles and cousins: JoAnne, Ted and Andrea Baseler; Terry, Kathleen, Cameron and Christopher Scodeller; Terry, Tane and Libby Cabe; Sharon, Kelley, Corry, Peter and Annie Morris.
A memorial service will be held for Spencer on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. Central Lutheran Church, 2702 Rockefeller Ave. in Everett.
