Virginia Rose Shaffer, born August 23, 1925 in Rising City, Nebraska, passed away on December 20, 2011 in Edmonds, Washington. She is survived by her daughter Vicky Tharp, sons James Shaffer Jr. and Curt Shaffer, and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Shaffer Sr., in 2009.
