My heart is heavy, I have lost my dearest friend. .I still can't believe that you're gone Elaine! Elaine and I were like sisters. We have known each other since we were in grade school and often reminisced about growing up together, and laughed so hard..We often took vacations together and had planned a trip to Israel prior to COVID-19. I enjoyed her many bibilical post on my facebook. She has always been a kind and caring friend, one that I could always depend on. I find it hard to believe that she is no longer a phone call away. To Felicia, Shyrl, Wendy and her family, please know that Auntie Shirley loves you, and I'm just a phone call away.
"People are like flowers. God picks out the best ones when he needs them!" May we find comfort in her memories. Rest in Paradise my sister. You have earned your wings.
