Mr. Maloney you were the kindest, most gentle man at Schurz High School. But you were no pushover! You made your presence known and were respected. It was not an easy job I’m sure but you made it yours. My high school years, 1973 - 1977 hold such fond memories for me and you are one of them. Rest peacefully dear one. I remember Jim very fondly from the time we worked together at CPS. I learned so much from him. He was the consummate class act, kept the trains running on time (as much as that was possible), knew where all the bodies were buried, and always had a laugh and a twinkle in his eye. He made some long difficult days more bearable, and I will never forget his many kindnesses. Rest in peace, Jim.
