There are so many wonderful memories of my Dad.  In a few words it is impossible to express the truly unique man we had the privilege of knowing; a person who loved his family, exhibited unimpeachable integrity and demonstrated the value of hard work throughout his life.  I remember Dad's loving gentleness that was mixed with a very protective side for my Mom, sister and I.  He was able to be a comfort to us by not being afraid to show the tender side of his personality.  He was supportive and caring.  My fondest memory of Dad - and Mom - is that I knew I was always loved and for that I am grateful beyond measure.   I love my Dad and will miss him dearly; missing the relationship I had with him.  Thank-you Dad for being the best father for which I could ever been blessed.

You are the quintessence of honesty, integrity, and hard work.  You loved your family so much and demonstrated that love always.  You and Mom put us first and showed us what it meant to be a family. Although I will miss you beyond words, my life is blessed with wonderful memories.  Love Always - Julie

Aunt Jean, Jody, Julie, Michael, and Jeremiah,

For me Uncle john epitomized the core of the Greatest Generation.  He served his country with honor in WWII and came back to build a home and a future. He is a patriarch who has left a wonderful legacy and example for his family and all that knew him.  He will be greatly missed.

This world has lost a great man. You have to look long and hard to find someone who is as kind, and generous. I'm happy that Michael was able to grow up with his grandpa in his life. I know that Mike is a better person because of it. 

I hope you can celebrate his life and relive all of the great memories I know you have.

I will forever have french fries with my steak.
