I will forever remember your unconditional love and concern for all your nieces and nephews. You loved us and would call to check on us and I will miss our many conversations. I will miss you opening up the family reunions and your words of wisdom to all of us. We will stay in touch as a family just like you wanted us to continue doing. I remember my mother sharing stories of you and her as young single women. You were a very dear friend and sister in-law to her, as well as my daddy, your only brother. God favored you with long life and He was ready to bring you home. Take your rest and know that we will continue to love and care for each other.
Love you Auntie,
Ruth Marie Armstead-Malone

Blessings and love to you and your family. I didn’t know your mom, in person, but the way you honored her was beautiful, and I felt your heart as a daughter. You are certainly a daughter after God’s own heart. ❤️ She is now in glory with the Lord and what a wonderful place to be. Love you. What a wonderful mother she had to be, to have reared a daughter like you.

My Diamond in the rough. On June 27th I was born to Camilla known as Candy to Miss Lillie. She took one look at that baby and said, "look at that pretty black child with all that silky black hair" I'm gonna name her Marilyn. And that's how I aquired my name. Every year on the 27th of June my phone would ring. Who was it but godmum telling me the same story about my birth. Now I cry, who's gonna call me now? Rest on godmum mama is waiting for you with Jesus at the flood gates of heaven. When I look into the night skys and see two shining stars, I know it's you and mama talking, job well done!
