

Patrick Delano Smith was born on December 26, 1963 to Aden and Ceola Smith in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of four children born to this union.
He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Samuel A. Flucker at the House of Inspiration Church of God in Christ.
Patrick received his formal education from the Chicago Public Schools. He graduated in 1981 from Corliss High School and attended Olive Harvey College.
After high school Patrick married Tina Williams and to this union one daughter was born Patricia.
Patrick was athletic as a youth; he played little league baseball in his Roseland community where his dad was the coach. Patrick also had a passion for art; he was a caricature artist which is the ability to sketch people in a humorous and cartoonish manner. He loved music, reading and was always a jokester.
Patrick always liked to discuss the Bible with dad and fondly expressed his love for his mom by telling her “I love you” all the time.
Patrick later married Lucille Harris and lived Huntsville, Alabama.
Patrick passed away on September 17, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his brother Aden Smith Jr., paternal grandparents Harvey and Gladys Smith; maternal grandparents Evie and Parker McDowell.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of his wife, Lucille Smith; daughter Patricia Williams Smith; parents, Aden and Ceola Smith; sisters, Michelle Harris and Denise Anderson; four grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
