Rachel was a fun loving, colorful person and dresser. She had a style all her own and loved life. She was straight forward and caring. She was .willing to help out family and friends in need. She loved the beaches in California, Lake Katherine and many other beautiful places. She loved the stars and moon in the sky at night. She also enjoyed looking up at the blue sky with clouds, a fond memory is the time she would lay on the grass with the little ones saying look up at the sky, what does that cloud look like to you? Always checking what was on the mind of the kids. She loved Andrea Bocelli, Geno Vannelli, Josh Groban, and jazz music along with in earlier years one of her favorites was Tom Jones and many, many more. She had enjoyed many bands like Blood ,Sweat & Tears , Doobie Brothers, Buckinghams and more. She did not make her 65th Birthday (July 31, 2021). We would have planned a great celebration!! So, in honor, we will celebrate her life and memories on that day. Please remember her as she was, she is not in pain and I’m sure doing it her way up in Heaven. We have an extra angel looking after all of us. She has a large family up there that welcomed her. I’m sure she is hugging and giving her opinion on all. Now Dad, Gary & Rach are playing 3 handed pinochle, while mom is making food, laughing and Tommy & Aunt Estelle & Mel are laughing and enjoying her colorful way of speaking. Till we meet again Love you Rach (aka) Roxy.

Radiant Rachel, a French-Polish Princess from Chicago’s South Side
A “white woman in a white house with a white car”
Extremely blessed with inheritance of Betty’s fine porcelain complexion
Fiercely devoted to family and friends driven by faith
Fun-loving, shamelessly flirtatious, quick wit with a wild sense of humor
Inseparable Laroche siblings compassionately care for one another
Cousins cling close despite distance

There are so many memories we have of Rachel over the years. Rachel brought so much fun and energy to every family party. Lots of laughs, sarcasm and jokes. Rachel was very family orientated loved all the phone calls to keep in touch throughout the years. One of my favorite memories of Rachel is playing cards at the kitchen table with Uncle Louie and Aunt Betty. We used to laugh during our card games and share stories. Rachel was kind and generous. When Diane, our kids and I would come in to visit from Florida Rachel would always plan a get together for dinner with the family at a pizza place in Orland Park. We will always treasure these wonderful memories. Rachel you will be truly missed. May you rest in peace. To all the Laroche Family Our Deepest Condolences Love, Dennis, Diane Kilcoyne and Family

My Special friend and client,
It was a joy to do Rachel hair because she had all these ideas and
pictures of how she wanted it and end up letting me decide to do what I think looked best. I will miss her jokes and laughter . Gone way to soon..See you again in heaven.

I remember Aunt Rachel's laugh and the way she would always check up on me and ask specific questions that showed she was really listening and cared. Her laugh was contagious.

She loved the cats at my home and enjoyed our cat, two-face especially. Here is pic of her with the feline. Cat is crying for Rach. She keeps snuggling in her chair in front room & looking in her bedroom for her . She will be missed, she was sneaking multiple treats to the cat when I wasn't looking.
