Wow I just saw this. Robbie (daddy rich) and I were in the army together, we served at Ft Carson, Colorado and hung out quiet a bit.  After the army I did come to Chicago and had the privilege of meeting Mom,Dad and Sister. In meeting them I could see were the inner Rob came from, they were kind and hospitable As was he.  It brings joy to my heart to see his family around his and to know that his Father in haven Who knows him has embraced and welcomed him. My heart goes out to the family for Your lost.

I still can't believe it. Uncle Robbie, you always made me laugh and sometimes we would laugh until we cried. Although I am so sad, I'm thankful that God allowed us time to make fun memories that I can forever hold in my heart. Thank you for sharing this journey with me from grade school, army, marriage, first job, first license, giving me money to go back to school and taking as much pride in my graduation as if it was yours. My prayers goes out to aunt Sarah and all the Richardson family and to his kids. Robby and I would talk every week and he always mentioned his kids and his grandkids.but on Sundays he would always call me early in the morning before he and aunt Sarah went to church he'd say what's up "cuzz" I know you been up cooking ,what you cooked and he'd share what he cooked with me and I'd kid with him and say we could open up a restaurant with the stuff we both cooked .we always shared cooking stuff together. Robbie to me was more than a cousin. He was my best friend and my "ace boon coon".he was my cooking buddy my brother all mixed up in one.to me he was more than a "cuzz" like he would  say.he will by far be deeply missed by me ...it won't be the same without  him.he always brought Chicago to the family in new Orleans. My days of not hearing from him on Sunday talking about cooking and Chicago Bears won't be the same.coming down for Mardi Gras telling me to get the chicken or sausage before he'd make it down for the occasion. Coming by April and I having a great time from the time he got here until the time to  come back. Speaking about his next trip down .hearing him tell April  I and when he come over its like luxury. I miss him now and I miss him later.he always had a smile .I'll always remember and I'll always will Remember the words "what's up cuzzz...!!!! I love you you Robby .....my cuzz " forever and always rest in heaven with the smile and always the laughter. ....forever always "Troy "...Love you like my brother. ....this is not goodbye but farewell for now always you ...forever. ..

I remember you took me to my first basketball camp outside of Riverdale. That exposed me to other types of players and a different basketball culture. That's a memory I will always carry with me.
