Charlene Gay Minton

MINTON, Charlene Gay, age 80 of Fairborn, OH passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence (Stambaugh) and Claude VanHoose; brothers, Paul and Wilbur VanHoose; and sister, Claudine Jurich. Charlene leaves behind her beloved husband of 61 years, Bob Minton; devoted sons, Terry (Patsy) Minton of Fairborn and Tim Minton of North Carolina; adoring grandchildren, Jared (Amanda) Minton, Joel Minton, JoJo Minton, Drew Minton, Lee Minton and Malia Minton; and loving great-grandchildren, Cole and Carter. Charlene was a beloved mamaw. Her passion was cooking and she loved sharing it with everyone. She also found great joy in shopping. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH 45324 with interment to follow at Byron Cemetery.
