CHARLES HICKS age 63 of Fairborn passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Miami Valley Hospital. He was born the son of James & Ida (Stanley) Hicks on October 23, 1947 in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by daughters Rene Smiddy and Rachel Ballance, sisters Bonnie Conley and Kelly Green, brother Garland Hicks, step daughters Pammy Ray and Sheila Ray, step sons Buzz Ray, Robert Ray, and Randy Ray, granddaughter Ashley Shoopman, great grandchildren Colten Marriott and Levi Taylor, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charles will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, Noon to 1PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E.
