Dale Edward Schumaker

Dale Edward Schumaker age 65 of Huber Heights passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. He was born the son of Edward & Anna Loise (Miller) Schumaker on October 21, 1950 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dale is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Kathleen Rose Schumaker; uncle Herman Schumacher; aunts Agatha Schumaker, Leona Schumaker, Laura Steffes, and Stella Steffes. Dale is survived by his wife Linda Schumaker; daughters Michelle (William) Moe, Heather Navarrette, & Joanne (Kenny) McClelland; sons Edward (Tara) Schumaker, Matt (Miranda) Schumaker, & Steve (Allison) Ashford; brothers Al Schumacher, Bob Schumacher, Dick Schumacher & a sister Bernie Zomberg; 14 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Dale served his country proudly with the United States Air Force retiring after 20 dedicated and devoted years. He was a member and usher at St. Peter Catholic Church. Dale was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, and brother. He will be missed by all who love him.

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 5PM to 7PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio 45324. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd. Huber Heights, Ohio 45424 with Rev. Anthony Cutcher, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors.
