Donnie Mullins Sr.

Donnie Mullins Sr. lost his battle with cancer on August 8 2012. He was born March 3, 1952 in West Liberty KY to the late Rufus and Matlean (Adkins) Mullins. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Carla (Young) Mullins, son Donnie Jr. (Huber Heights), daughter Angel (Xenia), He is survived by 4 brothers, Ronnie (AnnaLou) of Fairborn, David (Michelle)Corinth, KY, Dennis (Cindy) Huntsville, AL and Danny (Brenda)Pennington Gap, VA and 6 sisters, Diana Jeffers (Freddie) Lexington, KY, Donna Phillips (Charles) Stanford, KY, Debbie Brown (William) Winchester, KY, Audrey Darnell (Rick) Stamping Ground, KY, Alene Howard (Dale) Georgetown, KY and Geraldine Purcell (Randy Copas) Atica, IN. Survived by2 grandsons (Drew and Christopher) ,numerous nieces and nephews. Special Mother-In-Law Judy Young, and Sister-In-Laws Karen Gilley (Tim) and Krissy Young (Dan). (Special nephews Dylan & Paul Dunaway and niece Kristin and great nephew Chase Hicks) and many friends. Proceeded in death by his parents, son Keith, daughter Katrina, sister Shirley Smith, and his father-in-law & best friend Carl Young. Donnie was a concrete mason by trade and worked hard all his life. He was an avid fisherman and loved sports, especially NASCAR and football. He was a caring and loving man who would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by all.

Friends may call on Friday, August 10, 2012 ¬6PM to ¬8PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio where funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10 AM with Pastor Ken Majors officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery.
