Elinor Layton Gebhart, born March 8, 1927, died January 24, 2022, in Memory Care in Claremont Retirement Village, Columbus, Ohio, after living a wonderful, full life. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Lee Gebhart, and her 4 children & spouses: Rebecca Dickson (Scott); Jonathan Gebhart (Carol); Janet Hammond; and Margaret Vorac (Robert); plus 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She received a bachelor's degree from Wright State University and retired from Tait Manufacturing in Dayton. She and Lee led an active retirement of travel and service in the Eastern Star chapter in Xenia, Ohio. A memorial visitation will be held at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main Street, Fairborn, OH 45324 from 1-2pm on Sunday, February 20, 2022 with a memorial service to follow at 2pm. Elinor’s family is requesting that all in attendance wear masks.
