Emily was the youngest of five children and was the first member of her family to graduate from college. She earned a degree in Education from Eastern Kentucky University and dedicated her professional life to teaching. For 35 years, she served as an elementary school teacher in Fairborn City Schools, teaching at Central, South and Five Points Elementary Schools.
On August 4, 1956, Emily married Ralph Webb. Together they shared nearly 59 years of marriage until Ralph's passing in September 2015.
Emily was a dedicated volunteer at the FISH Food Pantry, where she spent many years serving members of the community. In her free time, she enjoyed following Kentucky Wildcats basketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball.
Emily is survived by her daughter, Noel Ranft and husband Jim, and her son, Dirk Webb; grandchildren, Lauren Rabi, Emily Petrilla, Spencer Ranft, and Charlesee Woosley; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; her parents, Ruby and R.R. "Doc" Wolfe; and her brothers, Billy Wolfe, Dick Wolfe, Ransom Wolfe, and John Vincent Wolfe.
Emily especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a lifelong educator, she took a special interest in helping them develop their reading and math skills and took great pride in their accomplishments.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairborn FISH Food Pantry. At Emily's request, there will be no visitation, and a private graveside memorial service will be held for the family.
