Ethel Louise (Lambert) Cooper age 85 of Enon peacefully went to be with her lord while surrounded by family. Ethel was born in Gallipolis, Ohio on April 15, 1928 to Charles Alva and Mary Elizabeth (Halley) Lambert. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Ottes Eugene (Gene) of forty one years, her parents, brothers; Roy Lambert, Kenneth (Etta) Lambert, Charles (Mary) Lambert, and Noal (Skip) Lambert, son Bruce Wayne Davis, grandson Timothy Edwin Cooper, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel is survived by two loving sisters Bessie (Don) Bush, and Nancy Matlock, sons Timothy (Sonia) Cooper, and Robert (Donnietta) Cooper, daughters Barbara (late Bruce) Davis, and Mary (Tim) White, grandchildren Christopher (Lori), Tammy, Jason, Anthony, Crystal, Brandon, Jennifer, Paul, Jessica, Timothy, Kristina, Tiffany, and ten great grandchildren. Ethel attended Rio Grande College to receive her degree in education. She started out in a one room school house teaching all twelve grades in Gallipolis, Ohio. She retired from New Carlisle Bethel school district. She was invested in her students and spent her own time tutoring them because she knew they were the future. The family would like to send a very special thank you to Dayspring of Fairborn and Hospice of Miami Valley for the comfort and care they provided when it was needed.
