Eva Florence Christy

EVA FLORENCE CHRISTY age 78 of Fairborn passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born on May 31, 1932 in Sidney, Ohio the daughter of Amyl Lee and Mary Ella (Trissel) Shaner who precede her in death. Eva is survived by her children Chuck Stevens Jr. of Fairborn, Connie Stevens of Fairborn, Debi (Jerry) Sipe of Huber Heights, and Cindy Stevens of Huber Heights, grandchildren Roger (Valerie) Hall of Utica, MI, Becki (Ben) Stratton of Farmington, KY, Michael Stevens of Fairborn, Nikki (Brendan) Bullock of Moraine, Nathan (Lisa) Stevens of Dayton, Jason Stevens of Huber Heights, and Michele (Clint) Bost of Springfield, great grandchildren are Bailee Hall of Urtica, MI, Abbi & Olivia Stratton of Farmington, KY, Zachary Bost of Springfield, and soon to be baby boy Hall. Eva has 1 brother and 3 surviving sisters-her closest and dearest sister Goldie (Hoppy) Halderman was her neighbor and friend for many years. Eva is also survived by the father of her children Charles Stevens Sr. of Tipp City. Mom will be missed and her memory cherished always. Friends may call in the Burcham Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio on Friday, February 4, 2011 from 4 to 8PM. Services will be on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10AM at the funeral home with Pastor Ben Stratton officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Very special thanks to the Dr’s and nurses of CICU-4th floor of Miami Valley Hospital. You all made a very difficult time more bearable.
