Gibbons, Evelyn Louise, age 91, of New Carlisle and formerly of Fairborn passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek. She was born in Dayton, OH on March 17, 1929, the daughter of Willis and Hannah (Mason) Furness. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Staff Sergeant James Ronald Gibbons, her former husband, John Gilbert, her best friend, Betty Gilbert and her daughter, Maudie Whisman. Evelyn is survived by her children, Carol (Frank) Gilley, Jane (Nicholas) Mote, Johnnie Gilbert, Keith (Teri) Gilbert, Patty (Don) Duffey, Michael Gilbert; a son-in-law, Paul Whisman; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
