Garry was born on March 13, 1977, in Columbus Ohio to Larry and Brenda Sue Blevins. In the early 1980s the family relocated to Fairborn, Ohio, and Garry attended Fairborn Schools. After high school, Garry pursued a career in Silk Screen Printing. He earned his apprenticeship at Screen Play Printing in Xenia, Ohio.
In June of 2004 Garry and Tamie Conway (Deceased 11-24-22) welcomed the light of Garrys life, Melanie Marie Blevins into this world. With Tammy came her son Tanner Conway, who Garry helped raise and provide for. Their daughter Melanie would meet Da’Shaun Davidson and present Garry with his only grandchild, Antonio Davidson, In April of 2025.
In 2005 Garry and his brother Larry started their own printing company, Green Leaf Printing and Design, Dayton, Ohio.
Thanks to Garry's dedication and hard work, Green Leaf Printing would be a force in the local printing industry for 2 decades.
In early 2025, when treatments prevented him from continuing his physical work, he would stay in contact with his company daily, to assure the orders would get done correctly, and the business could
continue after he was gone.
Garry met his partner and the love of his life in January of 2013. Jennifer Blankenship and Garry would work hard to provide care and support for Jennifers daughters, Dakota Blankenship and Cheyanne Hausfeld, along with Melanie. Together they would form a family. Jennifer took care of Garry in the final months of his life, and stayed by his side every step of the way during treatments. The couple were lucky to have met and share their lives together.
Garry was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Sue Blevins.
