George Raymond Moore

George Raymond Moore, age 83, of Springfield died on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Wright Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born the son of George W. & Katie (Wells) Moore on February 1, 1932 in Rose Hill, Virginia. George is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Linda Gale Brown, great granddaughter Willow Moore, brother Robert Moore, and a nephew Franklin James. George is survived by his loving and devoted wife Delora (Daniel) Moore, daughters Kathy Collins and Karen (Dave) Criner, son Alan (Maxine) Moore, sisters Hester James and Gerthel Moore, brother Elzie (Rhonda) Moore, grandchildren Allissa Collins, Katie Collins, Mike (Michelle) Bonelli, Chelsea Criner, Katie Rieske, Paul Brown, Olivia Moore, Mathew (Brittany) Moore, Rachel (Tim) Bird, and Thomas Moore, and numerous great grandchildren. George devoted his life in serving his Lord, pastoring at United Holiness Church for more than 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who love him.
