When I was a little girl, I remember going to slumber parties at Pam's house. It was always in the basement, and we always had such a GREAT time! Helen would make sure that we had stuff to eat and drink during the whole time! As I got older, I got a chance to get to know her, woman to woman. I always enjoyed going over & sitting in the patio area, look at the garden, and hang out with Helen, Pam and Earl. They usually sent me home with something awesome to eat out of the garden. She had such a cool sense of humor, and wonderful sense of family. I loved going over on Halloween, and Helen always made everyone feel at home! Their house was the one I ran to when my nephew fell off the slide at Palmer elementary, where they called the ambulance for me, and waited with me till they came to take us to the hospital. Their house was always the one I waited for at Christmas to be decorated, it was ALWAYS so gorgeous all lit up and I knew that THAT was a gift from Helen, Earl, & the whole family to our neighborhood. I'll miss you Helen,,,Thank you for being a part of my chosen family.

I am so very sorry to hear about Aunt Helen’s passing. I cannot imagine how difficult these past 4 months have been for the immediate family. When I think of Aunt Helen my first memory is her great laugh. She had a really contagious laugh when she really got tickled and she was a really good cook (just like grandmother). Also she thought the world of her family. She will truly be missed. I pray that God will give the family peace and comfort. Much love - Jeannie Caudill James

Helen was like Mom to me. Never thought of her as a mother in law. She loved to play cards, phaze 10, Skip-O and other games. We would play for hours and laugh and have fun. I will never forget her. Awesome person, huge heart loved everyone.
RIP Helen (Mom)
