John was such a warm, playful and humorous person. We loved going to the mountain on the spur of the moment. I am so grateful for our son, Evan. He is the light of my life. I'm thankful we were able to have our friendship always and warm conversations. John will be dearly missed. My deepest condolences to Nila and all his family.

Johnny I love you so much. We all are going to miss your fun jokes and going to fireworks at VFW and your words of wisdom. Give Dad a big hug for me. Until we meet again. I loved postcards and letters you would send us when you were in Arizona. We had our own special language. My secret is you always been my favorite cousin.

He was my icb buddy. My fishing pal. And my friend. I remember when we went camping and fishing at Lake Barkley. He caught the biggest bass that week. Good times. I'm so saddened over this. Please let me know if I can do anything or if there will be services.
