Kathy L. Adkins, age 57 of Fairborn passed away on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born the daughter of Fred & Helen (Whitt) Deer on April 9, 1955 in Xenia. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Stevie, David, and Mike and a sister Pam. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years Bobby Adkins, daughter April (Jeff) Hass of Tupelo, MS, son Shane Williams of Fairborn, brother Todd Deer of Fairborn, sister Beverly Deer of Fairborn, grandchildren Austin, Logan, Abbey, Emily, Ava, Allie, and Brayden, and several nieces and nephews. Kathy retired from WPAFB after 26 years of dedicated service. Kathy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed by all who love her. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 11AM-Noon at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio where funeral services will follow at Noon with Pastor Ken Majors officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at
