Where can I even begin? I first met you when I was only 6 years old, I’ve known you for 18 years. You were my moms best friend and like a second mother to me and my siblings. Tavian, my sister and I were all so close growing up. How I will miss the days laying in the sun at your dads pool while the grill was going. Or going to the mall, the movies, the park. The birthdays we spent together. Our favorite place to eat you and my mom would always take us was Buffalo Wild Wings. When I got older you let me live with you not once but twice in my time of need. You were always there to help in anyway you could. I also miss you doing my hair! You were so good at it. I miss your laugh, your sense of humor and your kindness. We have so many memories together, I will never forget. I knew you were sick but not that sick. I wish I would have stopped over just one last time but the last time I saw you we hugged and told each other we loved each other and I’m forever grateful for that. RIH and I love you forever and ever!

It has been so many years since we have met in Ohio, Tavian was a little baby and I had just arrived for a year as an exchange student with your family.
How lucky I got to be picked by Alex and then have all of you as my American family for ever.

I’ll always remember your laugh, the time you came to visit me in Brazil, the times we were together in London, at Dad’s house, at Mom’s... I’ll always remember our moments together with a heart full of pure love.

Thank you for leaving so many lovely memories in my mind and in my heart.
You left too soon, but we’ll see each other again.

Stay in piece.
With love.
Your sis,
Mariana (Mimi)

All the days at great clips we spent together sharing laughs, and art with friends. Many bright nights on the town, enjoying life with our group of friends. I will forever miss her smile when I walk into a room & the hug she would give. Missing you always. Love to all her friends and family and prayers of peace
