Mary L Hicks

Hicks, Mary Louise, age 85 of Franklin, formerly of Fairborn, Ohio, passed away on Monday March 10, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 22, 1939 in Cincinnati to the late Albert and Mary ()Hines) Craig. She married Rex Hicks and he passed away in 2004. Also preceding her in death was a daughter Juanita and 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Mary is survived by her children, Rosella (Gary) Sharp of Brooksville, Florida, Rex Allen (Donna) Hicks of Huber Heights, Ohio and Mattie (Brian) Conder of Franklin, Ohio. 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Mary worked as a Custodian at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and at Wright State University for many years. She loved being with her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed listening to Blue Grass music.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 14, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm at the Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio. A service will be held at 1:00pm, with Pastor Duane Brian officiating. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn.
