Pamela D. Lakin, age 56, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away at Soin Medical Center on Friday, November 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Jerry” Lakin and parents, Norma “Jean” and Merle H. McCarthy. She is survived by her children, Angela (Francisco), Eric (Jessica), Ivy (Anthony) and Olivia (Robert); grandchildren, Kalie, Randall, Amelia, Lidiya, Kierstin, Ryan, Eric Jr., James, Kylie, Aiden, Gabe, Autumn, Deklan, Summer and Penellope; brother, Wendell (Paula) and nieces and nephews, Timmy, Trent, Aimy (Anthony), Amber and Trevor. Pam was a resident of Fairborn, Ohio most of her life. She had an Associate’s Degree in auto mechanics from Sinclair Community College. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Pam was always there for all of us and never turned anyone away. She saw everyone as family and raised her children with the same view. Pam was selfless and she encouraged her children to be the same. She would always say that if you do not have enough to go around then you do not open it in front of others. Pam lived for her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. As her health continued to decline it pained her that she could not spend more time with her grandchildren. Pam bragged to anyone who would listen about her grandchildren. Pam loved to crotchet, watch her soaps and spend time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held from 2pm-5:30pm on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Recovery Plus Community Resource Center, 333 W. Broad Street, Fairborn, Ohio 45324.
