Phyllis Carl

Mary Phyllis Carl, age 86, of Enon died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born the daughter of Tom & Elva (Purdin) Rickey on January 30, 1928 in Decatur, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd Carl, brothers Bill, Bob, Donald, and Wendell Rickey, and sisters Leslie and Emma Rickey. Phyllis is survived by her loving daughters, Marilyn Minette of Springfield and Linda Malone of Enon, her loving sons, Dave (Pam) Carl of Fairborn and Jim Carl of Springfield, a sister Shirley Massie of Wilmington, sister in law Ruth (Rodger) Dawson of Sabina, brothers, Bryce Rickey of Cincinnati, John (Linda) Rickey of Winchester, Ohio, Ron Rickey of Decatur, Ohio, and Roger (Gwen) Rickey of Winchester, Ohio, grandchildren Kim Minette, Kelly (JT) Young, George Carl, Travis (Chrissy) Carl, Danny Malone, Nick Malone, Jessica Carl, and Wyatt Carl, great grandchildren Brodi, Colbi, Robbie, Elly, and Kaelyn, many nieces and nephews, and very special friends Connie Carl, Tammi Carl, and Donald Marriott. Phyllis was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who love her.

Friends may call in the Burcham Jennings Funeral Home 119 E. Main St., Fairborn Ohio on Sunday, August 3, 2014 2 to 4PM. A funeral will be held on Monday, August 4, 2014 at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Sisco officiating. Interment will follow at the Enon Cemetery.
