Reva Whitt

Reva Whitt, age 85, of Fairborn died on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of Challie & Mintie (Bayes) Long on September 13, 1929 in Oil Springs, Kentucky. She was preceded by her parents, first husband George E Roberts, second husband Wayne E Whitt, son Gary E Roberts, step son Vondal Whitt and step daughter in law Joann Whitt, brothers Dencil Long and Oliver C Long, sisters Birdie Prater and Belle Van Hoose. She is survived by her son Larry E Roberts and step son Durward Whitt (Barbara), daughters V Faye Amburgey (Wayne) and Lisa M Adams (Michael), sisters Lakie Fisher and Nollie Combs, grandchildren, Jeff Whitt (Karen), Sheila Grimm (Craig), Marvin Whitt, Tony Roberts, Christa Burress (Mike), Steven Whitt, Alicia Adams and Amelia Adams, great grandchildren Amanda Glase (Duane), Zachary Sparks, Erin Sparks, Ryan Grimm, many nephews, nieces and cousins. Reva attended Victory Temple (formally known as the Fairborn Church of God) and faithfully served as Sunday school teacher, usher, benevolent committee, nursing home visitations. She was a homemaker and worked at Sunshine Biscuit and WPAFB. Reva was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who love her. Friends may call on Thursday, October 2, 2014 5PM to 7PM at Victory Temple Church 2443 Valle Greene Dr. Fairborn, Ohio where services will be on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10AM at the church with Pastor Ancil Carter and Pastor Tim Walden officiating.
