This is not so much a memory of an event but instead a testament to the beauty and character that was Roger. Unfortunately, my time with him was brief and often limited to holidays or special occasions. No matter what the circumstances, I always found him to be upbeat and pleasant. What a positive and kind person he was. I will miss him.

I am so sadden to learn of Roger’s death. When he lived in the Fairborn apartments he attended worship often at Trinity UCC and came to our Tuesday night meals, besides helping around the church.
I live right across the street from the Fairborn Apartments. Roger would come over often to talk and visit. I last visited with him just several weeks ago and will miss him greatly.
