Ruby L. Keeton

Ruby L. Keeton age 79 of New Carlisle passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. He was born the son of Leander & Carrie (Fyffe) Keeton on November 12, 1933 in Crockett, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Olive Mason, brothers Earl, Clifford, and Burl Keeton. Ruby is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Cleeta (Preston) Keeton, daughters Lisa Keeton and Sharon & Jack Emerson both of Huber Heights, son David Keeton of Van Nuys, California, sisters Rita & Kenny Lewis of Morehead, Kentucky and Nora Etta Keeton of Vanceburg, Kentucky, brothers Mearlen Keeton and Elzie & Carol Keeton both of Crockett, Kentucky, grandchildren Derek, Daniel, Dustin, Natalie, and Nathan, great grandchildren Dawson, Abigail, and Brycen and several nieces and nephews. Ruby proudly served his county and retired from the United States Air Force and worked in civil service at Wright Patterson Air Force base. Ruby was a loving and devoted husband, daddy, papaw, and brother and he will be missed by all who love him.

Friends may call in the Burcham Jennings Funeral Home on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 11AM to Noon where funeral services follow at Noon with Pastor Gary Favor officiating.
