

Aside from her mother, Sandy is preceded in death by her son, David Lykins; her sister, Joyce (James) Ramby; her brother, Curtis A. Kemp; her stepdaughter, Alice Capps; her two granddaughters, Erika Lykins and Christie Capps.
She is survived by her loving husband Roy C. Lykins; her four sons, Ric (Stephanie) Lykins, Mike (Suzanne) Lykins, Jeff (Geri) Lykins, Joe (Angie) Lykins; daughter in-law Tina Lykins; her grandchildren, Chris, Brandon, Nicholas, Ciera, Alycia (Moises), Cole, Weslee (Kyle), Alexis (Kevin), Abbey (Josh), Jett (Erica), Jax, Karyss, Ellie (Seth), Aiden, Cooper; her sister, Elaine (Jim-departed) Searcy; her brother, John (Joy) Kemp; and her lifelong friend, Barbara Black. She is also survived by additional great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends.
Sandy loved to spend time with family and friends, enjoyed decorating, shopping, creating flower arrangements, spending time in her yard, and playing with her West Highland Terriers Candy and Carly. Sandy was actively involved in the Eastern Star and White Shrine # 62. She will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, generous spirit, and profound love for her family and friends.
A visitation for Sandy will be held at the First Baptist Church in Fairborn (1167 Highview Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324) from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Art Hill will officiate services. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Sandy’s memory.
